About Me

Hello! My name is Amy and I just love everything about interior design. From the initial brief taking stage through to construction, I have a great interest in producing inspirational and creative designs. I enjoy facing challenges head on and overcoming obstacles to create the vision clients are looking for within their environments.  From previous experience of working in commercial design, I have learnt many skills that have made me develop as a designer, and love looking for opportunities that can help me continue my progress.

My strengths as a designer include creating strategic layouts that meet project requirements, producing eye-catching concept designs, and developing technical drawings with some understanding to detail.

Education

BA (Hons) Interior Design - University of South Wales                                                                                   (Sept 2016 - Jul 2020)

I was able to learn a variety of software including Revit, Auto-CAD, Photoshop and Indesign, which have improve significantly throughout the duration of the course. Other skills include space planning, concept development, visualising, technical learning and knowledge about materials.

This course enabled me to learn a variety of creative skills within a mixture of subjects including pottery, digital art, photography and print making. Through these subjects I was able to identify my skills and helped me discover the area I wanted to develop further in.
